The BookRecon Toolbar The BookRecon Toolbar is a small component that can be added to the Windows TaskBar to provide convinient access to the BookRecon database. System Requirements:
Installation  1. Right-click an empty area on your taskbar, and choose "Toolbars" -> "New Toolbar...".  2. A dialog box will be displayed, enter "http://www.bookrecon.com/toolbar/" into the "Folder" field and click okay.  3. The toolbar will be visible on your Toolbar. It will appear as "ISBN:". Next we will resize the toolbar so that it fits your screen.  4. Make sure that your taskbar is not locked. To do this, "right-click" on an empty area of the taskbar and look for a "check" beside the "Lock the Taskbar" item.  5. If there is a "check" beside this option, select it again to remove the "check". This will "unlock" the taskbar.  6. Click and drag the resize control to make the ISBN field visible.  7. Next we will re-lock the task bar. This is done by "right-clicking" on an open area of the taskbar, and clicking the "Lock the Taskbar" option. To Use The Toolbar 1. Enter the isbn you would like to lookup. You can also "right-click" and paste an ISBN into the field. 2. Press "Enter" to activate the lookup. 2. The results will popup in a new browser window. 3.
